Poppies
Preschool, 3 years to school

Two large rooms. Ratio 1:8. Preparing for school.
Poppies is our preschool room. 2 large accessible rooms, well-equipped for every opportunity in a child’s learning and development. Walls showcase children’s work, reflecting their learning and the topics covered.
Music, movement, Little Kicks
Nursery Practitioners create dance sessions once a week. Little Kicks is also available once a week. Music and movement throughout. The preschool team showcase skills with footballs. Our Little Movers also visit local care homes to perform for residents — building confidence, rhythm, and a real sense of community.

Lots of activities and games that require collaboration. Sand, water, small world, mark making, craft, role play, construction, mathematical toys. Preschool children are encouraged to take good care of the rooms — putting resources away, helping to clean up. Outdoor play: running, climbing, balancing, throwing, catching.

Building positive relationships, managing own self-care, developing confidence to communicate.
