Heaton Lodge Children’s Nursery Ltd offers full day care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery was established in October 2000 and is owned by Jeanette Curtis. The nursery is set over 2 floors with 6 playrooms enhanced with lots of resources to keep children engaged. Our garden play area has lots of space to explore and learn through our outdoors environment.

Jeanette Curtis founded Heaton Lodge in October 2000 and has led it ever since. Day-to-day management is led by Zoe Waters, Nursery Manager and named Safeguarding Lead. Kim Phillips is Deputy. Both are trained first aiders.

The team at Heaton Lodge Children's Nursery, Wortley

The nursery SENCO works closely with all families and children needing additional help and support. CCTV operates around the outside of the building and within the cloakroom area. An emergency Defibrillator is situated outside the nursery office. We work with Peninsula Business Services Ltd for up-to-date health and safety advice.

We don’t rush learning. We deliver care and education through play — our ‘Play with a Purpose’ curriculum, EYFS-aligned, with strong key-person relationships at its heart.
